IRISH TRADITIONAL MUSIC SECTION
Saturday 17th May 2025
Open to those living or attending schools within the County of Tyrone. In addition to the General Rules:
Children must play in the order stated in the programme.
In the event of a competition having a large number of entrants, it will be divided into groups, e.g. Event 401A, 401B, etc.
Tin Whistle competitions will be split for those who receive tuition during school hours only and for those who receive additional tuitIon privately and in groups. Under no circumstances, for those attending Comhaltas or private tuition, be entered in events 401 - 407.
Invoices will be emailed Monday 17th February 2025 and must be paid by Monday 24th February 2025. All entries are non-refundable.
Overall winners from the previous year must return their award in a good clean condition with their details engraved. This will not be done by Feis Thir Eoghain.
Under no circumstances should parents/guardians be entering events from 401 - 407.
These are to be entered by schools only using the password provided as normal.
Competitors in Events 401-440 will play one of the following tunes:
Polka, Slide, Double Jig, Slip Jig, Reel, Hornpipe, March or Set Dance - except in Events indicated by an (*) when two contrasting tunes from the above list will be required.
Competition Day - Saturday 17th May 2025
Entry Fees:
Solo Competition: £3.00
Group of less than 10 members: £3.00 per member
Group of 10 or more members: £30.00
Payment
For those receiving tuition during school hours only: Schools will be invoiced directly by email for payment on Monday 17th February 2025.
For those who receive additional tuition privately and in groups: An invoice will be emailed to the email address provided on the entry form on Monday 17th February 2025.
Payment Due Date: Monday 24th February 2025.
2024 Trophy Winners - Cup/Shield must be returned to the secretary by Friday 7th March 2025. These must be returned in a good clean condition with the engravement complete.
Engraving will not be provided by the Feis.
Failure to make payment before or on 24th February 2025 will result in refusal to compete.
