Welcome to the Art Section of the Feis.
Work in this section should be imaginative, self-expressive, original or innovative. The Adjudicator will look particularly for creativity.
Art entries can be 2 Dimensional or 3 Dimensional and should not exceed A2 size, otherwise there are no restrictions.
Competition details and themes for this year are listed below.
Entry Form
The online entry form will open Wednesday 7th January 2026.
All entities are due by Friday 23rd January 2026.
Labels
Labels for each entry will be emailed to the schools at the end of March. Labels will need to be printed and stapled or securely glued to the bottom right hand corner of the art work. No paper clips or stick on labels please.
Dropping off the Art
Schools will make arrangements to have the Art delivered and collected. Entries to be grouped by event number, and brought to;
St Joseph's Hall, Omagh, between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Friday 17th April 2026.
Adjudicating
Adjudication will take place on Saturday 18th April 2026
Collecting the Art
The Art will be available for collection from St Joseph's Hall, Omagh, between 4.00pm and 6.00pm on Monday 20th April 2026. Any artwork that is not collected will be disposed off.
Trophies and Prizes
For each event there will be several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals, Highly Commended Certificates and one overall Event Winner.
The following Trophies will be awarded:
Key Stage 1 Girl (P1, P2, P3, P4)
Key Stage 1 Boy (P1, P2, P3, P4)
Key Stage 2 Girl (P5, P6, P7)
Key Stage 2 Boy (P5, P6, P7)
Key Stage 3 Boy/Girl (Year 8,9,10)
Group Art
Event winners receive a small trophy that they can keep, and a 1st prize medal.
Key Stage Trophy winners and Group Art Trophy winners receive a large plaque which is to be returned to the committee in March of the following year. The school will be contacted by the committee to arrange this. Trophy winners can arrange for the trophy to be engraved with the winners name. Trophy winners will also receive an Event Winner trophy that they can keep, and a 1st prize medal.
Prize Winners Display
1st Place, Key Stage and Event Winner Art will be kept for display for 2 weeks in the Omagh Library, arrangements will be made for the pieces to be returned to the schools in due course (3 Dimensional work may be exempt from this).
